RESEARCH + INNOVATION

(Rooted in Ancestral Wisdom. Powered by Technology. Focused on Liberation.)

At the heart of all my work lies a simple question:

How can we heal, liberate, and thrive through sound, storytelling, and technology?

My research and innovation practice is dedicated to answering this — by building culturally responsive, tech-enabled, community-driven models for emotional resilience, spiritual sovereignty, and collective liberation.

Through collaborations with academic institutions, community organizations, and visionary partners, I explore how ancestral wisdom and cutting-edge technologies can work together to create new pathways for individual and communal healing.

Below are key highlights of my current research, collaborations, and innovation vision.

🌿 Research Collaborations

University of Toronto – Dalla Lana School of Public Health (Black Health Matters Lab)
In collaboration with the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health, I developed and presented research on sound healing and storytelling as radical public health strategies for Black communities. Through the inaugural Black Student Health & Pedagogy Symposium, I introduced The Frequency of Liberation™ — a new framework integrating vibrational therapy, cultural storytelling, and emotional sovereignty practices. 🔗 [View Link Here]

Future Black Female
Partnering with Future Black Female, I am co-developing digital resilience workshops and tech-enabled wellness interventions centered on mental health empowerment for Black women and girls. Together, we explore how culturally resonant technologies can build sustainable community wellness infrastructures.

Project Agape
As a strategic partner for Iverna Island, Project Agape collaborates with me to integrate trauma-informed panel discussions, digital storytelling initiatives, and technology partnerships into the festival ecosystem. Our shared mission is to center healing justice, emotional sovereignty, and tech liberation in every aspect of programming.

Innovation Vision: The Liberation Technologies Institute™

🌎 Innovation Vision: The Liberation Technologies Institute™

Looking ahead, I am building toward the creation of The Liberation Technologies Institute — a global hub dedicated to research, innovation, and education at the intersections of culture, technology, emotional health, and ancestral healing.

The Institute will serve as:

  • A research lab for culturally rooted digital wellness technologies.

  • A training ground for BIPOC innovators, artists, and healers.

  • A sanctuary for developing sound therapies, immersive storytelling practices, and tech-integrated emotional resilience tools.

Our long-term vision is to disrupt dominant wellness and tech models by centering liberation, not just survival, as the ultimate goal of technological advancement.

When we root technology in love, culture, and collective wisdom — we don’t just innovate. We liberate.
